Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership qualities and a proven track record in managing catering operations, including remote camp environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day catering operations, ensuring top-quality food service and hygiene standards.
- Supervise and support catering staff across multiple shifts, maintaining morale and performance.
- Manage overall camp operations, including accommodation, dining facilities, and building maintenance.
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, government authorities (ex: Baladia, FDA compliance with all safety, health, and labor regulations.
- Monitor stock levels, procurement, and proper use of supplies.
- Develop and maintain schedules, training programs, and reporting systems.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure smooth daily functioning of all camp services.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the catering or hospitality industry.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Experience managing catering services in camp environments or remote locations is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in English both writing and speaking.
